The Kloof and Highway SPCA

We at Ritzy IT heard they were running low on food supplies, so we thought we would help out and run a Facebook competition to raise money for them so they could buy food. We were able to raise R3000 for them! As this was not close to the goal we had in mind we donated an extra R1500 worth of Dog food.

We are a proud sponsor of Kloof and Highway SPCA and we urge others to get involved and help this organization.

The Kloof and Highway SPCA provide a comprehensive service to a large community in order to fulfil their mandate in the protection of animals and to prevent cruelty, neglect and suffering.

The demand for animal welfare services is growing year on year and the Kloof and Highway SPCA is no exception.

The growing animal population and current economic crisis, places a huge amount of pressure on many animal owners, impacting on the welfare of animals within our communities.

The Kloof & Highway SPCA, treats and cares for thousands of animals each year, investigates animal cruelty and neglect; promotes responsible pet ownership through its’ adoption process; holds regular sterilization clinics in poverty stricken and rural areas and conducts education on the humane treatment of animals to promote compassion and respect for all living creatures.

They do this for those animals who are most vulnerable in our society and for those who have no voice to speak for themselves. The staff and volunteers of the Kloof and Highway SPCA would not be able to continue with this work without continued support from the community, local businesses and schools. They rely on your donations, support and generosity to provide basic animal health care which is so desperately needed by thousands of animals each year.

Hibberdene Children's Holiday Home

The Mercury Hibberdene Children’s Holiday Home is situated on an unspoilt stretch of Kwa Zulu Natal Hibiscus Coast. The primary mandate of the home is to provide holidays for disadvantaged and indigent children, child-headed households, paediatric hospices, homes and orphanages throughout KZN.

The funds required to sponsor these holidays come from donors, major corporations, small businesses, trusts and foundations, which recognise the value of the work being done and the soundness of their investment.

Ritzy IT is very proud to be associated with the Home, and assists with all its I.T. requirements, accounting software and training and sponsors the Homes own Website.

Pinetown Rugby Club

Ritzysponsorpinetown

Pinetown Raiders club is one of the oldest Rugby Clubs in Kwa-Zulu Natal with representation in the 3rd, 4th and 5th Divisions of the Kwa-Zulu Natal Club Rugby League. They also have junior teams starting from under 6 and one of our primary objectives is to re-establish ourselves as a 1st Division member of the KZN Rugby Union.

Collectively, they comprise a dedicated, enthusiastic and hardworking group of individuals that are proud members of the community and are determined to keep their Club alive, well, competitive and accessible to aspiring rugby players of all age groups.

After having been in the 1st division 10 years ago, the lack of funding and interest almost compelled then to shut the club down until 4 years ago when, with the assistance of determined, loyal players and supporting volunteers, have fought back to restore the club to its former glory in terms of positioning. Consequently, they are proud to have re-established themselves as a KZN Club Rugby 3rd Division team.

To help this club in their journey to reaching their goals Ritzy IT has sponsored their First team kits for their 2013 and 2014 season. Wishing them all the best for their season. Follow this great club on Facebook and watch their success.
